| New motherboard. A server here needed upgrading, and I took the old motherboard and put it in this PC. Actually, Linux handled it okay. The new board dropped in and Linux still seems to be working. Really, from a ham radio perspective, actuallly this board isn't that old at all. The main issue is serial ports -- and I have a serial port on the back of this board, a connector on top, which I hooked up, and then two more on a PCI card I dropped in here. |
